Last week was the first week for T Ball! The league Carson is in is for 3-5 year olds, and they play Monday and Wednesday at 6:15. It started last week, so the first Monday we all just met each other, then Wednesday was the first game. I don't think Carson's feet were touching the ground, he was so excited!
They get a tshirt and cap with the team name on them.
Uncle Jason will be just pleased as punch (not!) to know that Carson is on the: WHITE SOX!! And guess who they played for their first game: the CUBS!! And even though they don't keep score, I must say the Sox kicked butt. Mainly because the Cubs had a bunch of 3 year old girls on the team.
Coach spreads the kids around the field, but they all slowly bunch up, and when the ball is hit, they all run and throw themselves at the ball. Everyone gets to hit and run, so for the most part they have a big time.
Games end with snack, of course. I don't think there is any event including little kids that doesn't have treats included.

You gotta be kidding me...first a guy with a Colts hat and then a White Sox clad Carson....That hurts!
Carson should know that Uncle Jason was a traveling All Star and could give him a few pointers on how to cheat off first base and steal second. I was considered the Vince Coleman of the BYAC league.
Yea! Sox! Win it all (or not). Just have fun, Carson and ignore Uncle Jason. He may be a Cub fan, but he is a southsider at heart. That black and white uniform is so cool....
