Easter this year was really nice. The weekend before we went to St Paul's for a special service. They did each station of the cross geared towards kids. They were all outside, and they gave the kids a scrapbook and a memento from the stations to put in their scrapbooks. A little over Carson's head, but I sure enjoyed it.
Saturday morning we went for an Easter Egg Hunt at Wheeler State Park. It was a lot of fun. Carson didn't get any eggs, but he got some candy, and had a good time anyway. We walked around when it was over and saw baby lambs and baby chicks.
Saturday night I went to a special service at St Paul's. Very beautiful, very moving.
Easter morning we went to brunch at the Grand America. Lots of food, very good. Then went to friends for the kids to hunt Easter eggs. There we had the mimosas we couldn't order at brunch.
The kids got big kicks out of hiding and hunting eggs. Carson also likes chocolate a lot more than we expected. He even liked Peeps, for crying out loud!
