Happy Birthday to Carson!

Today is birthday number 6 for Carson. Last night it was around 10 before he got to sleep - he was just too excited. First he got up cause he was hungry. Then we were making too much noise (cleaning up styrofoam peanuts that he covered the playroom with, that stuck to everything, that broke something in my expensive vacuum cleaner, that took an hour to clean up, that that that! But I digress. That is a story for another day)

Then this morning at 6:53 he comes in our bedroom: (loud stage whisper): Mommy, can I get up yet? Says Mommy: Let's sleep for 30 more minutes.

24 minutes later - (VERY loud stage whisper): Mommy, can I get up yet?? So of course we got up. He got to take treat to school today, so last night we all made pudding with sprinkles. The fat free sugar free is amazingly good.

When he got to school, his teachers immediately gave him the Birthday Necklace to wear. Very festive. He also got to turn the rainstick to start class and the class sang Happy Birthday. Each of his classmates drew him a picture, which his teachers stapled into a book.

He and Steve ran errands after school to (hopefully) finish getting ready for his party tomorrow. He opened presents, then had a special dinner of mac and cheese, and ate a piece of cake.

Tomorrow will be his fun party of ice skating, pizza, and cake!
