As usual, we spent Thanksgiving with our dear Peppers and their extended family. Their son and our son are the same age - born on the same day. Max asked Carson to stay for a sleepover. The only time Carson has had a sleepover was with his grandparents this past summer. He went back and forth, but finally said Yes.
So we drove home, got his pajamas, blanket, sleeping bag, and Albinoie (his stuffed albino alligator). We turned on the ringer on the phone in our room, fully expecting a 3 am phone call. All our fears were for naught. It couldn't have gone better! The boys fell asleep on the couch in the basement watching movies. Mandi, Max's mom, also turned on lights so they could find their way upstairs, cause she expected them to wake up at 3 am scared and wanting to come upstairs for bed. Instead they found the boys at 5:30 am eating cereal and watching cartoons!
Carson finally came home about 2 the next afternoon after going to the movie to see Bolt again. So a fine time had by everyone.
We asked Max if he wanted to come here for a sleepover: "I'll think about it."
