Mommy and Child Party

Last night I invited five other Mommies and their child to our house for a party. Everyone came, so we had three girls and three boys. And Mandi's daughter Mikell and her friend Doug came to babysit. All the kids went to school together at St Paul's, so they are all good friends. Mikell and Doug did a fantastic job of herding the cats so us Mommies could eat and drink to our hearts content.

I did drag myself away from the table to fix the kids a plate, and had they all eat outside. Some time later after they were done and back inside, I walked outside for something. Their plates were there, but the only thing that was left were four blueberries and a smiling happy dog from two doors down!! Molly made short work of whatever they didn't eat.

There weren't too many tears shed, nor too many complaints about who did what to the other. (I'm talking about the kids, not the mommies. :-) )

I think all went home full and happy. Great way to spend a Sunday evening.
