Mt Timpanagos

Our hiking has been woefully absent this year. The summer heat was a real downer. However, we did make it to Mt Timpanagos once. After you park, it's a 1 1/2 mile hike that gains 1,160 feet. And let me tell you, you feel every foot - even coming down is tough. It is a beautiful winding hike up the side of the mountain, and at the top is the cave. They give guided hikes every hour, which you have to reserve and purchase. It was well worth the hike up there - the caves were just wonderful.

However Mr Wonderful crabbed and complained and rode on Daddy's shoulders a lot. However, he did enjoy the caves about as much as we did.
