Chicago Draft Day

Labor Day we head to Chicago for the fantasy football league draft. Carson has never really been in downtown Chicago, so we decided to spend all day Saturday there. We went to the Shedd Aquarium, lunch at the John Hancock Building, and the afternoon at the beach. Saturday night Grandma and Grandpa took Carson to Tinley Park for a sleepover, while Steve and I stayed in the city and went to dinner with family and friends.

(Carson was taking swimming lessons so he brought Steve's goggles with him - they apparently work well in the shower too)

(Erik's the lucky camel, rider being Mister "I am SO tired!")

(Taken from the John Hancock - looks like a postcard)

(An example of the high clientele at the John Hancock)

(You never know what kind of hunks you'll find on the beach - wonder why the tallest one won't take off his shirt??)

(This is the very cool Bean in Millenium Park)

(Commander Grandpa is instructing Carson in how to play Shoot Everything Out of the Sky)
