Leapordy #1

Carson somewhere got it in his head that he wanted a lizard. Well needless to say, that wasn't exactly tops on my list. But he and Steve showed me stuff and convinced me a leapord gecko would be pretty cool and easy. So we head to the pet store to check them out. Believe it or not, we didn't come home with a lizard the first time, but we did come home with the cage and all the stuff to go in it. Next trip back, we got Leapordy the Leapord Gecko Lizard. This was July 3. He was SO cute!!

Very sadly, Leapordy only lived a couple of weeks. He ate a couple of times, and threw up both times, and then wouldn't eat again. We think he was probably sick when we brought him home. Carson and I buried him by the Kentucky Coffee tree in the front yard. It was terribly sad, and we both cried.

A couple of weeks after that, we headed back to the pet store for another leapord gecko, whose very clever name is - once again - Leapordy. He is quite the rascal. Loves to eat, and has grown so much. I'll have to come back and add a picture of him, cause for some reason I can't find one right now. He lives in Carson's room, and is unbelievably fascinated with Miss Dunn. I believe he thinks she is the biggest cricket he's ever seen in his life.
