Carson would have lived in that pool if we had let him. He probably wore a rut in the side of the pool from jumping off. He had all kinds of jumps, a few new ones which Uncle Erik taught: cannonball, butt buster, pencil, dive, fire in the hole, and my favorite of all: the shopping cart.
We also had the wiffle ball and bat, and played on the beach a lot. I invented one game in which we used shells for balls and played in the edge of the ocean. You had to be careful with that one though - those shells came much harder and faster than a wiffle ball!
We rode bikes again, but this year got a tandem bike. Carson of course initially didn't want to come, but was glad he did. It was great fun riding that bike. Plus we got to stop at a new park to play.

(Who will win that horse race!)
(I wish we had somewhere to store one of our own)
