This and That

Yesterday I cooked the most fabulous roast. It's one of our favorite recipes. In our ongoing battle to have Carson eat what we're eating, I put a few bites of roast, and one each of a piece of carrot, turnip, parsnip, and mushroom. I did allow him to also have a bowl of mac and cheese. I'd say it took him a solid hour to down all that food. He must have chewed that carrot till it was nothing left but molecules in his mouth. And oh the whining about the mushroom. I finally gave up and came in my office wasting time playing Chicken Invaders 2 Christmas. Steve came in here and said he finally started on the turnip but then started gagging so it fell out of his mouth. He thought he wouldn't have to eat it then. Well that little trick backfired. The only thing he didn't complain about was the parsnip, and that's because Spud on Bob the Builder has a parsnip nose, so Carson thought that was quite funny to be eating Spud's nose.

I ordered a new camera which got here yesterday. It's about a fourth the size of our old camera. Has 10 megapixels, and will fit in your pocket. Now if it will only learn to take its own perfect pictures.

Wednesday evening is when I go to the gym to take a step class, then a hip hop class, then a strip tease class. Last week was the first strip tease class. My incredible rhythm and just pure "hipness" serves me well in the hip hop class, but I'm not so sure about the strip tease. It's a new class, so I'll try it some more. I skipped tonight cause I was about to fall out from step and hip hop. Plus I heard that leftover roast calling my name. I came home to my two football players (with requisite ski "football" helmets) playing football. Now Carson puts the strap of his helmet in his mouth and says that's what the football players wear in their mouth so they won't hurt their mouth.

Carson's morning routine at school is almost as rigid as his bedtime routine. After we finish playing with the Buzz Lightyear at school, we go in his room, do "upside down" (I hold his wrists, he jumps up and turns upside down), he flips out of that, does two running hugs, a running kiss, then a kiss in the middle of his class. Oh and usually a nibble before I can get up the stairs. Well lately his schoolmates have been getting in on the running hug fun. I had a passle of them before I could leave today. They are all so precious.

Maybelle (our 17 year old cat) just jumped in my lap after finishing up a dish of Fancy Feast wet food. She has bad breath on a good day, and let me tell you, Fancy Feast breath is enough to make your hair fall out.

You are having fun - good for you. We want a command 'strip tease' performance at Xmas. Can we invite the neighbors and sell tickets????
Hey, Steven what's with the tonsil photo?
Carson, did you lose your clothes somewhere??
